Our 10-week Sports Development programmes are developed for pre-teens and teens that want to develop strength and speed to take their sport to the next level. We also work with pre-teens and teens that don’t play a sport but simply love their weekly workouts with a group of like-minded friends. Always fun and never the same, our Strength & Conditioning class will push your heartrate up while you gain strength and better mobility. It’s a full-body workout that’s ideal for men and women who want to develop strength, power and work on their conditioning. Different modalities are introduced to achieve progressive overload, so you’ll achieve the results you want faster. The focus is always on learning and maintaining the correct techniques, and you can expect a lot of fun and banter along the way.
This lunchtime class (12:15 to 12:45pm) offers a quick and efficient Strength & Conditioning workout without disrupting your morning or evening routines. Ideal for anyone with a busy schedule, it is challenging yet manageable for all fitness levels. Our trainers will meet you where you’re at, helping you get fitter, faster and stronger. You can arrive from 12pm for warm-up activation drills and address any tight areas before class. The workout, cool down and stretch is done in 30 minutes, making it easy for you to train then get on with your day.
This low intensity Stretch & Mobility session will make you feel lighter and freer as you improve your range of movements and increase your flexibility. The class is devoted entirely to improving movement and mobility. It will help you gain insight on how to deal with pain and muscle soreness through different techniques and improve your overall functional movement. Give it a go. Your joints will thank you for it!
Held on Monday at 1.00pm, this class is designed for homeschool kids and teens looking to incorporate regular fitness activities into their lives. The class begins with a fun warm-up and games to get everyone moving and excited. Next, participants will learn proper lifting techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness in their workouts. The class also has a focus on mobility, muscle activation, and agility exercises to help improve overall fitness and body coordination. It makes fitness enjoyable and accessible, especially for those who have few other opportunities for structured physical activity.
This is the perfect fitness class in Whangarei for early risers, held on Tuesday and Friday mornings at Maunu School. The Dawn Breaker class is for everyone, with all ages and abilities welcome to join in. We’ve created the programme in a way that everyone can take part and see the day in right.
